For the past few years, I have been training for various endurance things… I am a thorough mid-packer, and sometimes, a late mid-packer. I have gotten slower, especially in the woods. My goals have changed since I started. It is a big part of my life.

Highlights of 2013: TARC Spring Thaw, which was my first long distance trail race, in the winter, snow and mud… I got 24.7 miles into my 6 hours. A month later I ran the Biltmore Marathon in Asheville, NC which was fast, hilly, and cold. In the Fall, I ran Pinnacle Trail ultra 50K in 6:30 – my first 50K. I also ran Baystate Marathon. I also rode two century rides – Tour de Cure (bailed at mile 75 after three flats) and Seacoast Century in September.
